OMG! I just started playing nintendogs. I named my puppy "Hank". He learned his name. But there are NO icons to "go out."
Or "supplies" Is it broken?Has anyone else had this problem? Tell me what do dooooooo! MY PUPPY IS STARVING. AND REALLY THIRSTY!!!!!!!! PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ HELP FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIND THE ICONS.

go back to the home screen and there should be other options like supplies and going out.

All The Previous Answers Are WRONG, This Happened To Me, I Thought It Was Broken BUT IT ISN'T!!
You Have To Teach Your Dog It's Name And The Trick "Sit" First, Before The "Go Out" And "Supplies List" Button Icons Come Up. So Your Game IS NOT BROKEN So DON'T TAKE IT BACK!!

Turn off your DS and start again, if things still arent working ring up nintendo or take it to your local game store for help.

I am really sorry, there is nothing you can do... I had the same problem! Just take it to wherever you got it and tell them that it isnt working! Or contact Nintendo company! Try it out!

I'm sure you've checked but, just to be sure...
the page where you call your dog to you, with the spots for three dogs' head is the one that should have the icons.
If they're not there... yep it's defective I would take it back. Haven't seen that happen yet... weird.

Look in the instruction booklet - if the game was broken, then nothing would work.
aaaanyway, try this - keep pressing the rreturn button and see where it gets you. Go back far enough and you'll eventually find those lost icons.

Try calling the makers of nintendo (poor hank) anyway ummmm see if the cartridge has any dust on it or any thing
SRY i did the best i could cuz i have 3 dogs on that game but never had the problem
