my mother died.
since we all have to face it, and there's no getting around it, my sorrow has worn off. It has left me a bit more tolerant and patient towards the world in general, and much more so to the people immediately around me.
Best wishes for 2008 for you and yours as well.

2007 was the WORST year of my life!
1. My father died at 56 from cholangiocarcinoma.
2. My sister did something really stupid and has ruined her life forever because of a weak moment.
3. My second sister had to undergo emergency surgery to remove her spleen. Will be on medicine the rest of her life.
4. My oldest sister got emotionally devastated by her boyfriend who she trusted.
5. My grandma broke her hip and had to have surgery at 85.
6. My best friend got stabbed in the back by someone he trusted closely.
7. I had to watch my father change from a strong independent man into someone who couldn't walk 10 feet without help.
8. Had to spend $1400 to fix my truck.
9. Had to drive my mom to the ER on Christmas MORNING!
Yea....2007 can burn in h***.

my honeymoon had to be rescheduled and i had to pay a bunch of extra money to do so...because the government couldn't get my husbands passport to us in a timely fashion. even though we applied for it 4 months in advance..oh yes and did i mention the government sent my husband to fight in iraq without a passport but wouldn't let him leave the country for his honeymoon without one...that was fair thanks government for getting it together! they owe me some money...
