I'm having the same problem.
Been up at 1am almost all week.
I think I'm going to set an alarm clock for 7am, which means I'll be sleepy tomorrow, so I'll go to bed earlier.

my cousin used to work night shifts and switched to day shifts. she said it took her a full week to get back on schedule. i would try your hardest not to sleep during the day. your going to be really tired but hopefully you'll be so tired you will sleep at night. i don't know hun. oh and i'm not going to mention sleeping pills. no beer either.

*wemb has a good suggestion. so does igalig.

Pick a time span for sleep that suits your lifestyle. Have a hot shower and a hot milk drink and get into nice clean sheets. During the day, put a whole pile of activities next to the bed, like pen and pad, books, magazines, your wallet or handbag to clean out. When you wake, stay in bed and do something in the pile. When the alarm goes off, get out of bed even if tired and get through the day trying not to think about sleep. Go to bed at that same time. Keep doing this till you don't start waking up in the middle of the night, and you can willingly get up when the alarm goes off. Hope this helps but maybe someone might have better ideas. Waking up and going back to sleep is normal for some, sometimes. If you have lots of worries, concentrate on solving them so you won't lie awake at night worrying.

Go to bed early and take a tylenol pm or a sleeping pill so that you can sleep. When you get up exercise. Do that for 1 week then you will get sleepy at a decent hour.
