No, smoking is not glamorous.
Yes, the entertainment business holds great responsibility for glamorizing smoking,

EXAMPLES OF MEDIA IMPACT
Paris Hilton is making it okay to be a slut. Now, everyone is popping out sex tapes. Look at Vanessa from High School Musical. She should have known better than to do that knowing that people steal photos and video tapes. Kim Kardashian has her own show now. For what?

This wasn't even a question, more of a random rant. Everyone takes health class, everyone sees the anti tobacco commercials on TV, and hears them on the radio, and those things haven't stopped most people. Do you think some random guy ranting like a crazy man (yes I'm talking about you) is gonna make a difference? NO. No one is gonna stop smoking because of this. So everything you just wrote was pointless and annoying. Congrats.

In many of the old black and white movies, you see a lot of the actors and actresses smoking and it appeared glamorous or at least at that time. Now with all the facts we have about the dangers to your health, it is anything but glamorous. I quit smoking by the grace of God Aug 21st 1996 and never have had the desire to ever smoke again.

It's not glamorous. It's unhealthy.
Movies aren't responsible. The media may have made it seem so a while back, but their views are changing now. It's our choice whether or not to do it, and I chose not to.
