Just think of where our tax dollars being wasted and have you ever seen what our legislature is doing on a good day its just chaos. Our leaders just aren't resposible enough to look after themselves and yet they are running our country? Who else thinks they are in despirate need of a baby-sitter?

I'm voting with you on this one, Vivi.! My husband could straighten out so many problems if he had the run of the government for a year or two! However, no one should put me in charge, that would be very, very bad!!! =)

While your logic is skewed, I must say that I sometimes agree with you. Sometimes that bunch of whiney babies need to be put in a corner for a timeout.
Of course, that is what elections are supposed to do. But too often folks play the "seniority" card. (If you don't elect me again, you'll lose my positions of seniority on the committees I serve...).
Myself, I'm a really big proponent of term limits to prevent that from ever becoming an issue. Almost as good as a baby sitter if we just build in something to force them to take turns like good little children.

That is actually how it is (supposed to be) set up. Three branches, for check and balances. However, now it has turned into "cheques" for greater balances.

That is what voting is supposed to do. If they are bad you spanking them and ship them back home. The power of the vote is more powerful than the politician.
