Yes. There is. You simply accept that at that time in your life you were learning. You would also accept that the people who wanted you to do some things, that were not neccessarily
bad FOR you were dishonest,(not always a better definition than stupid). And you grow and go on.

it is good to be fed up with religion, but establish a one on one relationship with God, you are in a back slidden state depending on whether you have stopped going to church or not. within in your heart you are discouraged, because you are seeing too much mess that man is doing. repent and do your first works. God is faithful, but the devil is liar. I pray you hold fast to your faith in God, I went through a back slidden state and it is such a dangerous place. I am afraid an concerned for you. Please pray and disconnect your self from people whose disrespect for who God really is is pulling you down. Also try the billy graham web site it has many great solutions, they offer prayer live an online.

Of course. Spirituality is not necessarily religion. So pick a diety, give it a name, and do the love life thing however you wish. Use your spirit to do only good and show only love.

you did the right thing. religion aides us in going through the direction of life and to do good things and kindness to others..
your afterlife may be eternally happy if you stick with your religion.

Being a spiritual person has nothing to do with organised religion. It never did. I believe in a higher power, not some old man with a flowing beard standing on a cloud reading our every thought, poised to send devine intervention upon request; but of some greater power or force.
Read between the lines; seperate the fact from the fiction. There is indeed a better life ahead.

There is life after religion. Many years ago I lost my religion and nearly lost my faith and belief in God along with it. It was very devastating. I never went back to religion, but I have found my way back to God and I have even found a church to attend with people I love and respect. Religion is a fairytale, and it is used by sociopaths to manipulate the vulnerable among us. As I looked back over my life during my time of devastation over religion, I realized that there are times when I prayed for things and had needs no one knew about but me, and every single time the answer came it had to have been God. There were too many instances for it to be coincidence or chance. Once I realized God has loved me and been there all along, I was able to find my way to a better life than I had before. This is my story.

You don't have to be religious, you have to be spiritual. You can't believe what every "religious" person tells you just like you can't believe what every athiest tells you. Read your Bible and learn for yourself. The Bible is our guide book on how to live our lives and that is all that we have to live by. Everyone has doubts but just don't give in to them. Satan is the author of confusion, NOT GOD!

I hope that you aren't easily swayed by people who aren't religious. I don't understand why you would care what non-religious people think. Even if you have doubts, you can't go wrong by leading your life in a godly manner. Look at Mother Teresa. She doubted God most of her life but worked as she believed He wanted her to. That's quite something, don't you agree?
