every year i always make resolutions/goals that hopefully will better myself. I tend to never keep these resolutions. So this year i intent to HAVE FUN, make the most of each moment and savor what I have in my life!

My new Years Resolutions are to sort my life out in specific areas. I'll not bore you with the detail, but basically much as I love my life there is more for me to do yet. So, by being specific with where I want to go with my resolutions then I know I'll actually achieve little markers on the path to achieving my resolutions to where I want to be as a minimum by the end of the year. By achieving those markers I'll be able to stay I'm one step further and actually stick to keeping my resolutions on course. Rather than getting to mid January and abandoning the whole thing.

I have chosen to make none. Because in my experience, you're just setting yourself up to fail. Do things when you feel it's time. NY is an arbitrary date, anyway. You might as well decide to change your life on Chinese New Year, or the Orthodox New Year, or Easter, or any date that suits you.
Why not your birthday--your own personal, private New Year?

I resolve to weave a comforter out of the dust bunnies living under my furniture. I resolve to reduce my green olive intake from 20 to 10 daily. I resolve to stop yelling "fascist whore" at my sunday school teacher. I resolve to find Bill Glatthauer and piss on his roses for calling me a "skank" in the seventh grade. I resolve to remove all of the knickers from my drawers that have less than 3 percent of the original elastic on them. I resolve to walk my dachshund until his belly no longer touches the pavement. ...... I resolve to be more pithy in my YA responses.
