Magnetic Fields for me.
These people are crazy talented. They can play any instrument they lay there hands on.
The album "69 Love Songs" features instruments:
including ukulele, banjo, accordion, cello, mandolin, flute, xylophone, and Marxophone, in addition to their usual setup of synthesizers, guitars, and effects
Oh yeah, the Flaming Lips get honorable mention, mainly due to using an effects processor on the drums... lol ... these people have no boundaries!!!

The Fat Albert Gang, they play some crazy stuff coming out of the junkyard!
Seriously, I'm pretty interested in Einsterzen Neubentan (although I cannot spell it to save my life.) An industrial band that plays anything they can get their hands on, they're sort of like the German version of Fat Albert and friends although not so funky.
