Yes, some of the things I'm completely lost and confused not sure where I'm going, which leads to having to start from scratch once again, and others I don't even know why I get my hopes up for, it all leads to disappointment in the end, at least at moment anyways.

Yes, when I cchased after this guy that I really liked, I lost some of myself. After leaving the school we were at I was no longer that out going, loud, fun person, but a shy girl afraid of getting hurt again. I think I lost the outgoing part of myself. IDK when that will come back.

^^That doesn't make sense.. it should be 'Have you ever continued to chase after something after you lost yourself along the way'.
OR, 'Have you ever been so determined to chase after something that you lost yourself along the way'
Also what do you mean by losing yourself?
