I have a dryer by kenmore that's about 12-15 years old. It still drys fine, but the handle on the lint filter broke. I need to know where i can find used or new filters rather than buy an entire new dryer...which would be absurd. If anyone can direct me to a place where i can find them, you will get the 10 points....simple as that.

I have found burners for my stove at our local salvage/junk yard. The guys are very friendly and may charge a small fee but you have to go before the stuff gets crushed. I have also found timers for my dryer. I just joined today so Im not sure what the points are for, just trying to be helpful. Some people would be offended about going to the junk yard, lol. My husband has stuff he takes to get recycyled one time I went with him and I was amazed at the appliances, we also retrieved an ice maker from a refrig. Ours was broken and this one fit perfect. I don't know if all salvage yards let you walk through because of liability but maybe you could take your part and tell them you will pay them if they find one. Try to find a smaller salvage yard rather than a huge one. The one we have only has two people who work there. There is a bigger one in our area but they have around 50 people. The smaller ones are usually family operated and would be more helpful. Good luck!

try these two. I dont know the model # of yours so I dont know if these two sites service such an old dryer. There may be a phone number on the dryer somewhere too. If all else fails, just fashion a new handle and duct tape it to the lint filter.

that is ideal to scrub it out each and each time you utilize it, yet considering which you pronounced you greater advantageous than in all probability won't bear in mind, you ought to aim each 2 weeks. i observed that my bf's dryer dries speedier while the lint clear out is closer to empty. Is yours something like that?
