Somebody who does not fit it with the "regular people"
These people are usually more unique and different, which to me is a very good thing! The "regular" people can't handle that so they ignore and push them aside.

Nicely put and yes, just a bit complicated. For me God is the infinite creative power at work in the universe, and a Godhead the unchangeable essences beyond being, which include the joy and bliss of religious intuition in the face of one´s inevitable organic failure.

"Outcast" is an interesting concept. We have all sorts of scales that we compete on, and if we didn't have people to compete against they would be meaningless. An outcast is someone for whom it just doesn't matter how well they do in these competitions, we're going to dislike them anyway for other reasons.
It seems a lot of the definitions here describe how to identify an outcast, but not what makes them an outcast. Look past the outer trappings and side effects, and figure out what's inside them that makes them an outcast.
An outcast is someone that society rejects, not someone that chooses solitude. What makes society reject them? It's because they don't chase the goals that their social groups push. They aren't team sports fanatics, they don't track every new shade of Revlon makeup or chatter incessantly about the latest celeb couple.
In a lot of cases, it's because people want to feel superior, and in order to do so they have to have someone to feel superior to. So the in-group designates an out-group, and this makes our outcasts. And then they repeat the process with the in-group, making smaller and smaller circles of "in-ness" and an entire hierarchy of outcasts.
As outcasts, we don't really pay much attention to those lower than us on the social ladder. They're unimportant to us. We just tend to pay attention to those on the rungs above us and, as such, feel like outcasts.
