Nope. I find a spot and purch there for the night. I'm terrified of having a run in with a drunk driver on the road.

No, I don't drink and drive cause I don't have a car !! Your evening sounds as though it's going to be a fun time. It's good that you have a Designated Driver after your boating party. Can I join you ...lol.
Happy New Year. Plus, a star !!

Are you implying that I'm mentally deficient?
Drinking and driving was something I did in my youth, but I have long since seen the error of my ways. It's a foolhardy pastime for idiotic people.
Drinking and boating (especially under power) is also very dangerous and illegal. Get caught doing that and you can expect to lose your drivers license. Don't get caught and you can expect to drown.

Yes it does count, let us hope the coast guard aren't off duty. Drinking and driving is firstly criminal, secondly stupid, thirdly highly irresponsible. I love a drink and will get roaring drunk tonight so will my partner but we will not be driving anywhere. Neither of us ever drive even if we have half a glass of wine.
