i guit drinking and this will be the first sober new years for me.im just going to watch some tv and probably fall asleep before 10 hits.are you planning on getting trashed,have a good time or do the same as me,nothing.

Oh well... you didn't quit drinking yet. Too bad...too sad... hope you and those around you get through it alive. The sad part of getting trashed is that you can ruin ANYTHING with the addition of alcohol.

Happy New Year! For me, a little television, some dinner and talking with my husband. No alcohol for me thanks. Maybe some grape juice and ginger ale.

You could still go have a good time without alcohol, but I do understand the temptation will be the hardest tonight. I will be here with my husband snoring on the couch, only to get fussed out for waking him up at midnight for a kiss. So sounds like we both are celebrating the same!

well......it depends on which basis a person sees this day....
I feel that it just another day.....we make it special to 4get every problems of our life for a moment and enjoy the day to the fullest and hope that this year brings a new things (specially ups and pros and +ve things)......so it's upto a person how one celebrates it....i am going to celebrate it with my family and friends!!!!!!!!
Cheer up man and do something to make this day a memorable one instead of doing nothing!!!!!!
