Honda used the same ignitor unit on a lot of the small twins, cd125, 185, 200, cm125, 200 and cb125td will all fit if you dont want to pay for a new unit.

I assume you mean the CDI ('capacitive discharge ignition') unit, rather than CID ('Criminal Investigation Department')?

If you do mean CDI, then check out David Silver Spares. They have a genuine Honda one for £65, brand new.

official honda suppliers is the first and best option, not the cheapest though.

Try ebay, second hand units are sometimes a risk but you can get ones that work fully.

when ever you get it, if you have a manual and a AVO meter (you can get one for about £5-10 pounds from maplin) check the resistance comparing with the chart found in the mechanics manual, sometimes the information is in the haynes manuals but sometimes haynes think that electronics are to hard so say you should goto a registers mechanic. i.e. honda mechanic.

hope this helps in some way.
