I heard from one of my friends that you can tell how big your breast are by the size of the areola and I was wondering if that was true or any other way to tell.

Areola size can be large or small no matter what size the breasts are.

If you want to measure for a bra, get professionally sized. Ignore the "online bra calculators" as I've done them and they said I was anywhere from a 32AA to a 42DDD when I was actually a 38J!!

If you don't want to go the professional way, measure around your chest under your breasts. Round up and add four if it is an even number, and five if it is an odd number. This will be your BAND size. For ex. you measure 35.5. Round up = 36. Add four since it is an even number = 40 Therefore your band size is a 40.

Then measure around your breasts at the widest part. Subtract the band size from the breast measurement. Then here is how you take care of the cup size:

Less than 1" difference: AAA or AA
1" difference: A
2": B
3": C

etc etc.

however use this measurements only as a guideline, as not all bras have the same standards for measuring. You could be a 38C in one bra and a 38D in another bra.

Now, if you are talking about what size you will end up in the future, NOONE knows. You could be whatever size you are now up to a KK cup!

Take a tape measure and measure your chest right under your breast. Now take tape measure across breast at nipple and around back. The difference of numbers is your cup size. ie 1st measure is 36inches. The breast measurement is 39. Your bra size is 36C. For each inch is a cup size. 1inch =Acup 2inch=Bcup 3=C and so on.
By the way, the size of the areola does not measure breast size.
