Is immature democracy very much like underage sex ..... the consequences could be deadly.?

what I am trying to say is democracry has a better chance to last when economic and social conditions of a country have reached a certain stage when the problems of finding foods , water and shelter have been solved , then people can focus their energies in political matters. A lot of teenager girls got pregnant at 14 when they dont even have the means of supporting themselves , let alone bringing up babies.

Does thinking of things like this keep you up at night? No Democracy is never mature. When it reaches Maturity it ceases to be a Democracy. It becomes something else.

In other words Democracy is always a struggle.

You just wanted to say "underage sex".

The consequences of ANY sex can be life-altering or deadly.

And..

Just because there are risks, does not mean that young democracies do not deserve our support. In fact, in all cases, the guidance of a mature adviser can make everyone safer and better off.
