If it's only 10 months old ... make a warranty claim ... don't go poking around yourself if you're not sure what you're doing ... you'll void any warranty if you do

there are some reasons for abrupt pc turn off, depending the behavior that it shows before it shuts you down..could be the power supply (the box), the hddisk, the motherboard, or the processor.
power supply - fuse may be blown up (if it never runsagain), or it accumulated bad capacitors.
the harddisk - has badblocks or some program loses its good running condition.
the motherboard - there would be an overheating that causes short circuits, then it powers u off.
processor - overheating (it needs to be cooled)
though u may know what's in these has the problem, you cannot troubleshoot lest you know it how..just bring the stuff to the store where you bought it because every purchase goes with a warranty, claim it now where you need it the most. OK?

its possible there was an update applied when you booted up that required a restart, but the system wasn't booted all the way up so the command to restart wasn't fully executed. Unplug it, wait a few seconds, plug it back in and reboot....if it does it again, take it in for a warranty claim there's no sense in trying to repair it if its less than a year old.

Try a power supply from another PC. It is a bit young for bad capacitors but it might be worth a look at http://www.badcaps.com

turn the puter off, check all plug in to the wall and extension cord, then wait a bit, it should re-kick.
