We all know in Physics that according to law of attraction opposites attract, but similar poles repel. This applies to boy-girl attraction due to opposite sexes, but not fully as boy-boy and girl-girl attraction is also there! Moreover, relationship works well with like-minded people and is very difficult to carry over if two people have different belief systems. Now I fail to understand if similar poles repel each other, then how come similarity works in relationships?
If any one can solve this dileema for me and have some clarifications, then I will be very grateful to you. Any other view point (scientific / logical / practical / social) to explain this phenomenon is most welcome!
