Get Zone Alarm Security Suite and learn how to use it. You can control everything that comes and goes and block out anything you want. It takes some getting used to and can seem complicated in the beginning but you ultimately become the master of your computer world. They also offer a software that can put you in stealth mode for invisible surfing.

theres proxies, but there is still a traceable ip, theres programs to block cookies, security settings to deny the creation of cookies, but in the end your internet experience is limited or at least frustrating.......you can run your pc through a router and assign ip addresses, that way the sites see your connection and not your pc......you can also achieve this via a hub, but a little more complicated.....basically, unless you only go to the front or first page of every site you visit, never do a search for anything, or login to anything.....they don't setup to store anything.....and if you run a program like ccleaner (stands for crap cleaner)after every browsing session, nothing wll be saved.

Cookies are a necessary evil in browsing pages, and the majority of them clear out once you leave the page.

1) From the Control Panel > Internet Options or from IE > Tools > Internet Options. Use the Security and Privacy tabs. Use the slider to increase security or individually block sites by adding them to the Restricted Sites list.

2) There are proxy and anonymizer sites that can mask your IP. Google those keywords.

3) Government agencies don't need your IP to spy on you. They simply scan ALL electronic communication, whether web, cellular, satellite phone, etc. There's a new law, which may have already passed, which gives immunity from civil lawsuits to phone companies that allowed warrantless wiretaps.

4) There was a short-lived effort to put email on the encrypted channels used by credit card transactions. I think that collapsed after 9/11. If you know an email website that starts with HTTPS: , let me know.

In whichever browser you use to view the sites, go to tools and then go to options, security tab. The cookies and settings for things like that should be there.
