Have a dream and not remember it, and then during the day, get flashbacks from the dream?

I've been getting wierd images in my head, like from a nightmare, but I don't remember waking up from any dreams the last few nights. Could my, like, subconscious mind remember it?

Also, sorry if this wasn't the right place for this question. :) Wasn't sure where to put it.

I BELIEVE DREAMS ARE IN YOUR SUB-CONCIOUS MIND. WHEN WE SLEEP THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS WE HAVE WHEN WE ARE AWAKE ARE DEALT WITH BY DREAMING. THESE THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS ARE PRODUCTS OF WHAT WE SEE, HEAR AND TOUCH DURING OUR AWAKE HOURS. SOMETIMES DREAMS TELL STORIES, SOMETIMES THEY ALARM US.

DREAMS RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITHIN OUR OWN MIND, WE MAY
NOT EVEN BE AWARE OF.

O.k. now this might sound controversial, because I have no real proof of what I'm about to say, but I think that the subconscious mind stores everything from our waking life, and yes our dreams as well. The problem is accessing this information when we're awake...sometimes it comes to us, and other times it's blocked. So yes, you can remember bits and pieces of dreams or other memories. All it may take is some sort of trigger to recall those experiences.

Hey, My answer to you is, Yes, of course you can get dream flashbacks during the day.
Perhaps your mind is slow processing dreams, which makes parts of the dreams come back to you through-out the day...
But also, of course, these may be memories from some time ago, of things you don't remember. I suppose it depends on what the flashback images contain.
Good luck, Ella

Yeah that is possible, a lot of people dont remember their dreams and then have "flashbacks" as u call it sometime after the dream.
