Arsenic is a known poison: I would have thought that the only safe way to take arsenic is in homeopathic amounts as in Arsenicum Album (Arsenic Oxide), which is an homeopathic treatment for specific gastrointestinal problems:

Be wary of some Indian medicines. Lead is found in some of them:

A Canadian study has highlighted high levels of heavy metal contamination of some Ayurvedic medicines: arsenic was one of them so be wary:

Not sure about the arsenic acid you are talking about. Is this an active component of a specific medicine. If it is its best to consult a qualified pharmacist.

In the UK, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, the MHRA, removed bottles of the Ayurvedic medicine SAFI because it contained Arsenic as a component (57ppm). This alone suggests that arsenic as found in some Ayurvedic medicines as an active component is NOT safe for human consumption. Arsenic is afterall a known POISON!

If you are going to purchase any Ayurvedic medicine: it might be a good idea to ask the company for safety data and chemical analysis data and then consult with a pharmacist or doctor.

Best wishes.

Minute traces of arsenic can be found in certain foods, but on the whole, it is not something i would knowingly eat or use, no matter how safe they (whoever "they " are) say it is. small traces may stay in the body and build up over time with terrible consequences.
Personally i would steer clear of the stuff.
