I am installing this, I've found that the door from jamb to jamb is 27", the tub at its thickest is 32".. Do I remove all the door casings,etc.??

if possible remove studs in the wall it will give you more room to work

get a 3 piece or an americast tub with swan enclosure. you will pay twice the cost, but if your time and labor are worth anything(repairing sheetrock) replacing moldings doors possible wall damage what are the costs of replacing all the things that will receive damage?If you are remodeling the whole house than go for it.

I don't think even removing the casings willm give you an extra 5". You will probably need to remove the studs on each side of the casing. Hopefully, you have enough room to slide the unit in place once you get it into the room.
