I have used Firefox for over three years I cannot understand why anyone uses Internet Explorer and yet 84% of Americans do.
In 2006 Internet Explorer was unpatched and a security risk for 284 out of 365 days Firefox is patched as soon as a security risk is known. If you want to have a safe browsing experience use Firefox once you get used to it you will love it. especially its add-ons like no script and make sure you have Macafee site advisor installed too, it is free and it will stop you from going to sites that are dangerous

The glorious Stephen Fry (who, in addition to all his other manifold talents, is a bit of an IT geek) recommends Firefox wholeheartedly. (See his article in the Guardian Weekend magazine of 8th December: "Dork Talk"). I have downloaded it and used it for the last three weeks and find it faster and more intuitive and helpful than IE. My university also uses it. I hope these facts are helpful to you in making your decision about what to use.

Yes I would it's way more reliable than IE with no more error messages plus it's faster. Yes better in every way you can have both. All you will get is an icon on the desktop / a choice but you will find yourself using Mozilla Firefox all the time as soon as you get used to it. Download it below. When it's up and running get the Add on Faster Fox it gets things going even faster.

Yes. More reliable and quicker - I keep IE as well as some sites don't seem to work so well with Firefox.

see basically, most people use internet explorer and feel its the best cause well they havent really tried many browsers! I've been using firefox for over a year and can definately say that its better than IE cause it has many add ons and has performance upgrades which makes it run almost 50% faster than IE and it is also much safer to use. The main reason i stopped using IE is that one fine day, it just started downloading trojans and my computer had to be revived and since i've been using firefox i've had no such problem Firefox runs everything that IE runs without a problem and i would definately recommend it.
