Does your fantasies sometimes continue for days even months? Where you have a different life (or lives). Is it comforting? Why do you think we do this?

Yes! It's part of the fun part of life! It's comforting! Why we like this, is the same reason why we like some stories, some films, some TV serials more than the others: we tend to superimpose our own images on some characters, or, put ourselves in some settings and events, and find vicarious (representative) pleasure, a kind of pleasure that we may find difficult to obtain in real life! (even on this forum, in our communications, there is an element of fantasy! enjoyable!)

ya, i used to b like that when i was 14. imaging like a rich , handsome, guy wit a lot of talents. this is mainly coz our mind looking forward for what we liked so much. but after a certain period of time i realize that better start working than juz imaging it. and i do get what i want. not all of them, but a bit of them.
