Have you tried taking them together?
If you do, then great.
If not, they are different medications so it wont hurt.
Can you make yourself some herbel tea?
Cramps usually last a few days maybe you can try exercising the next day. It really does help. It hurts to move when I get my period but after a while it does feel better.
Avoid sitting or laying in one position too, it usually makes it hurt worse. And I know thats hard when your in a lot of pain.
Drink lots of water, avoid salt, HEATING PAD.
I also kind of rub my lower stomach or have someone rub my back. The back has nothing to do with it really but it feels nice and takes your mind off the pain.
Good luck!

See.. my mom always tell me that cold is BAD for you on ur period... so i always wear socks...
and when the cramps get bad.. i take panadol and bring a heat pad..if its my lower back that hurts i sit and put the heat
behind me..
if its my stomache that hurts me i put the heat pad on my stomache..
and consider taking long naps with a blanket and the ac off..
hope that helps :)

One thing that I found has helped with some of my cramping is to eat things rich in iron like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course). Because of how intense these cramps are I would recommend seeing your doctor as well for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on (after the holiday of course).
