A comedic actress, Eve Arden played "Our Miss Brooks" , an early Television show based in a high school. As an English teacher, Miss Brooks had to contend with the idiosyncrasies of the faculty, a difficult, pompous, rigid principal (and by extension, the school board) and a student, played by Richard Crenna, who had a crush on her.
