Okay well... I have a cowon D2 Mp3 player and it worked fine on my computer intill i reinstalled xp I went to plug in my mp3 player and it read it "cowon D2 disk, Massive storage device drive" blah blah so i was waiting for autoplay to come up..but it didnt so i went to my computer and i didnt see any drive assigned to it...So i went to diskmgmt.msc and tried assigning a drive too it...still didnt show in my computer but i could open it..but it wouldnt let me edit anything in the folder saying "wrong destination" and such..so I figured "maybe its just this" so i hooked up my usb drive into my comp to transfer the songs and id put them on at a friends house..but it wouldnt read any USB device...that has storage..I uninstalled the "massive storage device" a few times to let it reinstall but it didnt do anything....anyone know what I should do?

mmm also it usualy works as just a flash drive compatible with any computer so the CD wouldnt matter x-x

Did the MP3 player come with a CD ?
If so, INSTALL IT again, it might be one of these odd ones that needs files stored in a particular way. (My Creative one does the same, needs to use Music Match JukeBox to load it)
