The problem I'm having is that, a blank/black screen will be up but it won't capture my face or any other image. I tried it with Photobooth and iChat already. I'm new to Mac and I have no clue on how to use it... please, if anyone has any knowledge on this, I would really appreciate it =) Thank you!

Did it come with a manual ? Did you try reading it ?
If not, pop past www.apple.com and see if you can download the user guide for that version of the macbook

Enter a feature that uses the camera. It should automatically enable itself.

open up imovie and theres a button that said use isight. when you use the cam make sure you have verry good lighting. Mac have verry high resolution, so what apears to be a bright picture, will be darker and contrasted on PC.
