It really depends if he is open about his orientation. Many professional gays seperate their work from their gender preference. If he talks about being gay or his partners with you, that usually is a clue that he would be comfortable with joking or teasing about his lifestyle. I would probably keep it to myself just to be safe. Sometimes gays are sensitive and easily hurt about stuff like that, even if they don't express it.

That's pretty chuckle-y, but probably best not to say to his face. He may strike back with some clever dental insult about your choppers or even with the dental drill. You never want to insult someone who can get you down in a chair and have his way with you. Are you sure you're not a raving anti-dentite?

I've know a few gay folks who have quite a sense of humor - he may get a kick out of it as well (if he hasn't already thought of it).

Just make sure you bring it up AFTER he has worked on your teeth.
