I believe International Olympic Committee made very huge mistake when they decided to award the Olympics in Beijing because China can't meet the qualification of Hosting the Olympic games, in order to host it , they have to meet the basic requirements which mentioned in the Olympics significances, and i say china didn't meet its requirements because, human rights violations, brutal occupation of Tibet, and using their Power to ignore the truth about Tibet and changing the history into a false one, not having religious freedom and violation of freedom of speeches. And not to mention, they are trying to control Darful, Taiwan etc, as well as they never keep their promises, for example, Chinese leaders always gives speeches of world peace, in reality, they are the ones who always fails to do, by the way, i am not talking about Chinese as a whole, i am talking about the communist part leaders like Hu JIntao and others.
And Olympics symbolize the peace and happiness to the world through respecting moral principles of each other and symbolizing equal among human beings.
Therefore, i don't think China deserve the 2008 Olympic game , and since they were awarded the game, they
use the game to erase the real facts about Tibet and other discriminations.
So, 2008 Olympic represents the opposite of what the real purpose of the game.

I strongly support Free Tibet because i believe the truth and world Peace.

Every country has right to organize sports events. And by the way Sportsmen are known as "Embessadors of Peace". I think they must go there because people learn Peace, Kindness, Confidence, Love, Co-operation. If chinese government is not good in your views than why chinese people should be deprived of this event. If those people are not treated equally than what u r doing by protesting?
It means u r also depriving them from Happy moments. Do you know how much they will be happy by watching u,meeting with u? Do u know how much they will also be waiting that there will be most happy moments of their life in china.
Have u ever thought about people of countries? We always think about governments and we know all governments are bad to their nations. This way Olympics events should be closed and world should be deprived from Sports.

Of course they will...It's all about power and money anyway. President Jimmy Carter stopped Americans from going foward with the games for human rights reasons...and who do you think yelled the loudest? The games participants.

i personally think its shockin that an international even that promotes peace and co-operation between nations is being held in china.

for a nation that cant treat its residents with equality it has no right to host an event that represents equality.
