My husband and my family passed the migration process successfully from UAE. We will be doing our initial landing in Sydney in April for stamping of papers. Is it possible to contact prospective employers in our short stay (of say 10 days) in Sydney for my husband?
Is it possible to send our CV from UAE to recruitment agencies / companies in Sydney telling them that we will be available in month of April for an interview? Do they consider such options?

Yes, depending on your husband's skills. They will consider this approach (may even be impressed by it) for a person with technical or professional qualifications. It would be overkill for a taxi driver.
