not since I learned this...
with the neck pointing down at about 45*, strike the bottles bottom edge against a hard yet giving object like a tree or a wooden door jam.
with every strike the cork will slowly work it's way out.

hahahaha
me and my friend were on a sorta road trip, and we were giong through some kind of desert deserted road that you`d see in the texas chainsaw massacre and the car broke down.
that was soo creepy
we had to walk 18 miles in 90 degree weather to get to a small gas station to get gas, and the man was nice enough to drive us back to the car and give us free cokes. (:
it ended up being a really good trip too

I've used a butcher knife before! It was a mess and the wine was full of little pieces of cork but it was still sweet! I have used my trusty pocket knife for all sorts of predicaments too! A girl should never be without one!
