She's single, 24, cute and adventurous...

I however am a little older, married, home school mom etc - so I am not so hip on things and don't know exactly how to show her a good time. I mean, I wear tie dye, she has a coach purse and prada sunglasses - hahaha.

So where can I take her to show her around, to see the local guys, and what sights do you think she should see?

Help me win her over - she is discouraged by the snow and says she can't find guys she likes.

She likes kind of chunky, 25-33, taller than 5'10 guys that like rock music, Social Distortion, having a good time, pool, the occasional beer - and tattoos are a plus :) Thanks.

We have the same interests, camping, hiking, some shopping, coffee, funky eclectic eateries, etc - it's just we are in different places in our lives, so sometimes I don't know how to sell it. Like I said I am married, she's single - but I'm very married - you know domesticated type rarely having time to get out other than family stuff. :) Thanks.

Invite her out for a long weekend. Take her skiing/snowboarding in Winter Park.
Let her breathe the fresh air
Let her see clean trees, nature, etc.

Take her to boulder during a saturday afternoon.

Go rock hiking at Baseline and overlook Denver.

Take her to see a rock band (one of her favorites, if possible) downtown.

Watch a broncos game in a sports bar. She'll meet plenty of guys there.

well take her downtown. there are so many bars of so many different types and even just walking around is fun. many are scared to move to Colorado because of the snow but in reality it isn't that bad, yes we do occasionally have 'snow days' but all the better to have the excuse to hit the slopes. Denver has so many different things that you can do that it is for almost everyone, it is hot in the summer but not moist so you can still find a cool spot without having to use air conditioning. you can go hiking and skiing in the same place, how much better can you get? tell her not to let the snow discourage her because we only get bad snow here 3 months out of the year and the rest is beautiful!

You just have to get her over the stereotype that it snows Constantly here. Really our first snow this year wasnt till December. Bring her downtown and just birng her to all the fun places down there. I use to live in souther california and to me anyways.....there are better looking people here.

I agree that if you have to convince someone to move here, it might not be a good idea. Sounds like you don't have the same interests, so if she did move, would she be on her own most of the time once she arrived permanently? It's hard when you have kids and your friends don't.
I don't have a lot of advice regarding the local scene really since I enjoy going out but am married so I'm not looking to find guys. She sounds interesting though - prada girl who likes more the the punk type guy.....concerts and such where the tattooed guys generally are - that I can give advice on.

We've had a bad couple of years re: the snow, so that might be a real drawback to her. So. Cal. is looking better and better to me, lately.
I'd say overall, Denver is a pretty good place to meet guys. Take her to LoDo, or maybe to a professional sports game (the Avalanche or Nuggets right now) to get a feel for the local guys.
If she's more of a Prada girl, maybe you should take her to Cherry Creek, though, like dinner at Elway's.
But if she's more into fashion and style than hiking and skiing, she should stay put.

Yeah, don't encourage her. We're full up with Ese's.

I'd say that you need to wait until after winter; trying to get her to come to Colorado while the major roads are impassible is not much of a selling point.
