greatwhitenorth28: I have all of Floyd's albums, I'm a huge fan. I'm also a Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Radiohead, Doors, Jefferson Airplanes, Cream, Hendrix, REM and Zep fan. Seems like we have similar taste in music eh?

Damn, before I read your question details, I was thinking Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon. The entire album is a trip, Brain Damage/Eclipse is just the conclusion. Floyd has so much more trippy ****. You should get a copy of "Pink Floyd, Echos". It is a double CD that came out a couple years back with their so-called greatest hits, even though I don't think you can fit their greatest on just 2 disks. Sid Barrett wrote the earliest music and he was so far up his tree that he eventually went mad and was committed to a mental hospital, that is when Watters became the main writer. The song, Echos, is very good, aswell as Astronomy Domine, Set The Controls For the Heart Of The Sun, One Of These Days, Shine On You Crazy Diamond. It's all good.

Other bands you may like,

Beatles, psychadellic era, from 66-Rubber Soul album to thier final album. Sgt. Pepper is the blue-print of psychedelic rock.

The stones tried to copy the Beatles in the mid to late 60's and pulled it off very well with songs such as Paint It Black.

Cream has White Room and Tales Of Brave Ulysses.

The Doors first 3 albums. Well, all of them to be honest.

Jefferson Airplane. White Rabbit and Lather.

Deep Purple. Classic. Amazing guitar and keyboards.

Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan.

Are You Experienced? Jimi Hendrix, but isn't all Jimi's guitar playing an acid trip?

Jethro Tull.......for sure. Who else uses flutes?

Drive, REM.

No Quarter, Led Zeppelin.

Radiohead......most of the bands I have mentioned are ancient. These guys are alittle newer and they have some really weird stuff with synthesizers and all kinds of bells and whistles.

Everything needs more cow-bell!

ok, Diamonds, Diamonds.....by Max Webster, you know that one?

CCR, Put A Spell On You

Incense and Peppermints, Strawberry Alarm Clock

21st Century Skitzoid Man and In The Court Of The Crimson King, by King Crimson

Last one.......Ground Hog, Chilliwack.

You're not Canadian, eh?

Oh, did I mention my 2,287 mp3's? wink, wink

'I Wanna Be Sedated' - the Ramones.

:D That question amused me.

Girlfriend.....yes its ridiculous, and it ruined my perfect record of having no pop music on my ipod, but really, whats better for making yourself crazy with its trueness. I mean, is there anyone for whom that has not been THE perfect theme song at some point in their life?

Let Go by Frou Frou....this one is one of my fave songs of all time, and the line "cos there's beauty in the breakdowns" pretty much says it all.

Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston...This one isn't so much one I go crazy to, per se, but people in earshot of me when I'm singing it definitely do.
