i'm 29 weeks and i would have to say the best thing about being pregnant is feeling my son kick the crap out of me all night long and the worst is definately going to be my back pain. I had a seizure a few yrs back and ended up falling 26feet from a ladder giving myself 2 compression fractures in my back and now the pain is sometimes unbearable but i know its all worth it in the end.

Hey, Read This: I am really sorry about this. I'm afraid you have found out the hard way that having sex is a grown-up business with grown-up consequences. I agree that Brook would be a good place to start. You say that if your girlfriend keeps the baby it will drive you apart. That is quite likely, I know. But I also know that if she feels coerced by you into having a termination when she really, really does not want one, then that will drive you apart too. I see this all the time, unfortunately. So, the only way you're likely to be able to stay together is if you wholeheartedly go along with having this baby - but I don't think that's going to happen. There is going to be heartache all round I'm afraid – which is why the two of you urgently need the right sort of counselling to make sure that you are all finding the best possible option in the present circumstances.

Worst thing is not being able to eat a lot of foods I used to because of heartburn and nausea and the best is feeling beautiful with a big tummy and feeling my baby kick. I'm fair skinned and didn't get the line with my first and don't see a line yet. I'm 24 weeks. I see more hair on my belly but no line. Thanks for the refreshing question.

the best thing..i loved being pregnant. i loved feeling my kids kick and going to the dr and hearing the heartbeat
the worst..i agree with the heartburn. i had the worst heartburn with my second child. having to run to the bathroom every half hour because my son decided my bladder was a great place to get comfy. the labor wasn't all that fun either!
the line on my stomach didn't appear until about 35 wks. i'm sure, like everything else, it varies from person to person.

Congratulations!
The worse part of this particular pregnancy is the back pain since I had a car accident early on... however, in General, the worst part of pregnancy to me would have to be the physical fatigue that accompanies those raging hormones.
The best part of pregnancy is the little reminders that our little one gives us throughout the day that they are growing inside us. Whether a kick, roll, jab, or poke... they are all reminders of the precious like that we are carrying around --- a feeling that only a mother will ever know.
The dark line appears at different times for all. This last pregnancy, I got it around 28 weeks and it is rather faint compared to past pregnancies.
Again, congratulations!

Best... feeling the baby move, the u/s, getting ready for baby, not having a period, whatching my belly move when the baby moves, guessing which body part you are feeling sticking out (and surprisingly I was always right... confirmed by heart monitor and u/s) , the beginning of labor when you know it's time but it doesn't hurt yet...lol
Worst... morning sickness, heartburn, not being able to sleep the closer you get to the end of the pg, and the pushing stage of labor
As for the line, I never got one and I don't remember when it is supposed to show up.... I think approx 20wks and beyond is when it can start showing up.

Nice question ! well the best things first.... the ultrasound, hearing the heartbeat, getting away with a lot of stupid mistakes due to memory loss, all the attention from hubby dear, all the extra rest, the dreams, the hope of holding the little bundle of joy in your arms....
Everything else is the worst actually.... Begins with nausea and morning sickness that stays through the whole bloody day...the uneasy feeling which dampens the best of spirits, the ugly clumsy walk, the bulk, the sleepless nights, not being able to sleep on your tummy, not being able to celebrate with a bailey's shot, not being able to play your older kids favourite games with him.....and of course the labor...... almost every little thing....
but then the end justifies the means....here's to the spirit of all pregnant women.... especially the ones who are giving it a second/third/fourth shot ... all the best to all of them and hope you all have a fantastic year ahead... :-)

Best - feeling my daughter kicking
Worst - 39 weeks pregnant and getting heartburn for the first time in my life!
I didn't really get much of a line at all, just a very faint one around 32 weeks I think.

The best thing about having a baby is when the baby finally comes out and the worst thing about being pregnant is the tossing and turning when you sleep, the food you can't stand and the clothes you can't fit.
