don't give Tylenol or any meds.unless there is a reason, you can buy baby Vick's cream for her over the counter name brand is Johnson&johnson works great and yes you can put it on her every night while she has this cold...but remember never give any meds.. that arent needed you could cause problems for her....you can also buy a humidifier and there is some med. that goes in there called kaz inhalent and that will help also hook it up every night also untill this cold or bud is gone....you can also go in the bathroom and turn on your shower or tub [hot] water only and let her sit in there on your lap for as long as the hot runs hot the steam is just the same as the humidifier..

The Vicks could irritate baby's skin so use it very lightly. Just a dab should do the trick. You should also know that a few coughs doesn't necessarily mean that baby is coming down with something. Vicks, by the way, has no curative properties.

Do not give baby Tylenol for a non-existent fever. That's just not sensible at all.

No it is not good to medicate for just a few coughs. No tylenol should not be given to prevent a fever before she ever gets one except in the case of shots. Always give some tylenol before the shots because the shots make them not feel very good.

No! Baby tylenol is a safe medication when it is used as directed. It will not prevent a fever from developing and can interfere with your baby's natural immune system.
Do you mean vick's vaporub? This is not recommended for children under 2, so you shouldn't use it for your daughter.
When your daughter is sick, it is best to avoid medications of any sort so her immune system can develop and fight any infections. If she is healthy, using medications can damage her system. Relax and lay off the medications. :)

There is a children's Vicks...check your store for it. Don't use adult vicks. I wouldn't medicate unless the problem already exists if your baby isn't displaying symptoms...don't medicate. The ONLY exception to that is when the baby is getting shots...medicate before the shot!
