I have never studied Geography as a profession, nor any formal education about it. It's just one of my interests in life and I'm a frustrated geographer.

When I was a kid, I'm really fond of drawing maps. Specifically, the map of the Philippines, since I'm a Filipino. I'm also interested in directions, places, and knowing the culture of other races like our ethnic groups here. Right now, at the age of 18, I'm taking up Architecture as my course in college. Somehow, geography helps me especially in our subject History of Architecture. Like where Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles occurred, etc.

Alright, maybe you're kinda wondering why I'm a TC on Geography...well, I'm into researching too, and that thinking of helping others with the knowledge I have. I also have my own atlas and encyclopedias in hand. I have that basic knowledge in Geography.

I may not be as professional as others, but I'm here to help people in need! =)

Loaded question since anyone could write down what they want and no one is in any position to tell them different.

Anyway. I took all the geography courses in highschool except 1 (6 of them). I then went to college for 3 years where I did an advanced diploma in GIS focusing on cartography and remote sensing. After graduation from college I was offered acceptance into university where I took a degree in geography concentration in resource and environment assessment and graduated with high honours.

I have worked in both the private and public sector (municipal and federal levels).

I currently work as a GIS Analyst in the resource and environemnt assessment field.

I have enjoyed geography and world cultures, food, products and politics since I had an inspired 4th grade teacher (which included my first geography instruction) some 50 years ago at St. Bartholomew's School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My dad was in graduate school there, and we met many international families in Pittsburgh and then in Washington, D.C., where we moved after he got his PhD. The world and its peoples are wonderful, and I enjoy learning and sharing information about them.
