Which country are u from, as it is different depending on ur nationality.
For UK citizens u need a visa from the Russian embassy and then ur visa must be stamped by the hotel u are staying in within 3 days of arriving in Russia.
You can only get a visa if you book through a government certified travel agency and have certain paperwork.

No problems with russian visa. they welcome all tourists in russia, just be careful once you arrive in russia.
Depends what nationality you have but most people in the world cannot get a US visa

It depends on your citizenship. Most likely you will need a visa, but the chance of getting rejected won't be anywhere as high as for an American visa.

Probably easier to get into russia then the usa due to the fingerprinting and forms you have to fill in if you want to get in the states.

You need a passport and a visa. Passports are easy to obtain. Visas are easy to obtain, but it is a long process that can became pretty expensive.
