say my cousin downloaded some music off of limewire and got some viruses. if i take some of her music on my ipod and transfer it to my itunes, can the virus go through and reach my computer?

YES ... thats how viruses spread .... if the virus is in a file that you copy onto your computer ..then when you open that file (whether it be a word document, music file, or even a picture) the virus will infect your computer ... be careful ... use a reputable Anti-virus program

Well.... Viruses can only infect certain file types. As of now, they can't infect MP3 files. There may be other files with the music files that are infected, however. In general, Limewire isn't the safest place to get things.
