My jump shot is really inconsistent. I practice all the time, but i keep changing my shot from time to time. Most of my shots go in but i need better consistency. My free throws are also wacky, sometimes i go 6-8 and sometimes i go 2-14. How can develop a good consistent jump shot/free throw?

To be consistent, you have to practice shooting the same way every time, work on the fundamentals. Keep your elbow in, and in line with the basket. Follow through every time, full extension of the arm. Arc on the basketball, and getting your feet set, squaring yourself up to the basket. Shooting with your body, not just with your arms, getting your legs under you and into your shooting rhythm.
Practice these things consistently.

Find a good shooting form. If your form is bad, you're probably going to be an inconsistent shooter. Look at guys like Jason Kidd and Dwight Howard. The only reason why they are so inconsistent with their shots is their poor shooting form. Compare them to a guy like Ray Allen and you'll see what I'm talking about. Model your shooting form after Allen's form or Redick's form.

u cant just practice ur shots, u gotta get stronger as well or else you'll worn ur self down,so condition urself so that you wont b as tired.cuz wen ur lyk 5-5 from the field goal in 20 min, you'll start 2 get more & more tired & so shots wont fall in for u and u start to become inconsistent,so condition is a must, look @ kobe, most nba players get tired & start to fatigue in the 4th quarter, while kobe still can be consistent &dominant in 48 min cuz he condition himself & practice A LOT. but jus practice & build upper & lower body strenght
