When someone isn't making the right choices, what do you say?

"Someone needs to give that kid a swift kick in the ***!"

In sports, the pat on the backside is like this. It serves as a motivation tool that symbolizes a fifth gear. It's ment to push you in the right direction.

"Let's go."

Or a horse. You whip it to go faster. In this case, you slap to go harder.

It has nothing to do with homosexuality.

It's a camaraderie thing, players do that to say good shot, good play, or good game. It's been around since sports began.
