I mean, the pats just went 16-0, the Sox won the world series (again), and the Celtics are doing the best they have done in 20 years since Bird and company were playing. So to ask again, how great is it to live in Boston?

i asked people how great it is to live there, not if you would like to live there, now stop whining and being jealous and go answer a different question if you don't want to answer mine correctly.

Hmmmmmm, bad accents, football teams that cheat, and a 14 billion dollar Big Dig? Why would you wanna live there?...

It's painful to watch the Pats do so well. I am a Raider fan! As far as Boston goes I have never been, but it looks beautiful and I shall visit this spring.

You couldn't pay me to live in a hell hole like Bahston. I don't want to live in a city where they can't pronounce the letter 'R', or any letter for that matter. For the record, the Patriots will fizzle out in the playoffs. They will pay the price for a 16-0 record, once the playoffs begin. What goes up, MUST come down. The Curse of Len Bias will prevent the Celtics from #17.

Back in the early 80s I lived in Boston, in fact right next to Fenway Park, on the 5th floor in the back of 833 Beacon, and could see into the stadium (the wall anyway.) I looked straight down out my window into one of the parking lots.

I hated living there. It's a provincial little hick town with a grossly exaggerated sense of self-importance. The weather sucked, the traffic sucked, racism was rampant, the local sports fans were obnoxious, and the subways stopped running way before closing time at the bars. Fenway, Harvard Square, and The Rat were fun but those were about the only things I liked about the city.

Yeah, I'm sure the fans are really happy right now. Big deal.

I don't live in Boston. The Patriots are doing well, Red Sox did win the World Series & Boston Celtics are off to a great start but they have yet to play San Antonio yet so the time will come to see if Boston is for real. Patriots I would call DYNASTY because they did win 3 Super Bowls in a 4 year period but I don't consider the Red Sox winning 2 titles in 4 years a DYNASTY. Red Sox will not be considered DYNASTY in my book until they can win more than 2 or 3 titles in a row

I don't live in Boston, but I used to live in a small town outside of it. Being a Red Sox & Pats fan (I'm not too big on basketball) I'd be delighted to live up there again. When I move back, hopefully my two favorite teams will be doing well again. Although I understand that luck like this doesn't come around that often. I just want to move closer to my favorite sports teams.

I dont live in Boston and im glad I dont. I would be miserable in Boston because I would be surrounded by Pats, Sox, and Celts fans (all teams that I dont like). I would be surrounded by a bunch of ignorant and disrespectful "Boston fans"
