No you wouldn't have died, probably just bounce right back up! You may find this weird, but actually that was your astral body going back into your physical body. That happens whenever you get that sensation in a dream where you are falling. Every time a person dreams, the astral body leaves the physical body and enters the astral realm. In the astral realm, everything looks like the physical world, and the astral body goes wherever it likes, although your consciousness can be able to control it with practice, which is also called astral projection.

Same here, I sometimes wake up from falling, or even from something that scares me in my dream. And I always have my heart beat real fast, but relax, just because this has happened doesn't mean that u will die. It's just a shock from ur thoughts going around ur head from what has happened in the past, currently or possibly ur thoughts for the future. But remember, just because u don't wake up doesn't mean ur going to die. Death can tap us on the shoulder at any time, that's y we have so much stuff to do, 2 distract ourselves. But just relzc and don't worry about it. Hope this helps?

dreams are not some spiritual message or anything along those lines. Inside your head you have like a hypothetical filling cabinet for example where all your memories are kept and stored. When you dream the memories from the past day/s are being sorted into order and placed in this 'filling cabinet' .The dreams are so random, weird and wonderful because they are just mixed up memories, nothing about your destiny, fate etc.

I am more Gnostic and few others mixed in. Base on this and my personal experience Here is mine: Soul is love Soul is strength Soul is eternal Now we, as souls, are conceived into these human forms, and from the get go are overloaded with the noises that this human form creates. Unless we are guided, we loose touch with our souls an wander this existance. Compared to Eternity, this is not even a bat of eyelash, but most loose connection with the soul and only perceives what can be in this existence. As part of the cosmic consciousness our souls have tremendous capability, yet we reside in a form that has limits. Now if you believe that, as souls, we can manifest anything with thought, here is no limit as to what we can do. It explains paranormal, telekinesis that many can experience. Humans make things complicated, IMHO, because they are not integrated with their souls. If they were integrated, they would not have to look for love because they would feel the love inside. They would not feel powerless because they would have the strength of the soul to support them. They would know there is more than this existence because the soul is eternal.

I am told that falling dreams are normal, and it goes away as you grow older. It is just all about your astral body (soul, spirit etc) rising upwards as you fall asleep and falling back realigning itself as you wake up.
Falling dreams supposedly happens when your body starts to fall asleep, then decide to wake up again for some reason or another. Need to go to the bathroom?
You are not dying in the dream world when you are falling. You are supposedly simply returning back to your body.

it doesn't follow.. and it's hard to say. old folks used to say the same thing. if you dont wake up from a nighmare of you dying, then you die in real life. The mind is an amazing and powerful faculty of the brain. It will wake you up before it let you go deeper through the nighmare.

The body releases adrenaline when you're about to die so that you won't feel much pain.

Your body thinks you're about to die and sends a burst of adrenaline right at you. Thus this wakes you up.

No. I know people who have dreamed they were dead and they're still very much alive. It is much more common to awake before the dreamed "death", however.
