I feel sorry for young girls who get pregnant because they are limiting their options in life. I also feel sorry for their babies because most of them are not equipped to be suitable parents.

It depends on the circumstances. When I see some immature, unwed teenagers get pregnant I feel very sad(not bitter) because I know that they don't really understand what motherhood is about. It breaks my hearty to see a young girl and her child suffering because of the immaturity of youth. On the other hand ,technically speaking I was once considered a "teen pregnancy"myself. My husband and I married when I was 18 and he was 21(We are 33 and 36 now). We chose to start our family after our marriage and our oldest son was born 13 months later. We made mistakes over the years , but overall, I am so glad to have started my family while I was young. All of our children have been such blessings to us over the years. If I had it to do all over, I still would have happily chosen motherhood at the age I did. So, I think that each situation is different .I wouldn't look down on any woman (or girl) who has children at a young age , but it does sadden me when I see neglected children who have hard lives because their mother hasn't had a chance to grow up yet.Sorry for the long rant. I am going to bed as soon as I finish this one ;)

At first disgusted but then usually I am sympathetic. It kind of depends on the person, the situation and the number of times it has happened. Everyone can make a mistake and it's how they deal with it afterwards that makes the difference.

boys and girls do not need to be fooling around like adults when they cannot handle the consequences. i guess i get somewhat bitter because it's not like these kids haven't heard it a million times that they should NOT be having sex and that having sex can result in pregnancy, disease, etc...
i would be sympathetic though if the pregnancy was the result of rape.

I think it's ok as long as they can financially support the baby and it's nobody's business at what age someone who's body is capable of having a baby decides to have one. I would've loved to have been a young mom but i was brainwashed by everyone saying how wrong it would be. I wish people would mind their own business basically. Now that i have to work and pay a lot of bills it's impossible to take the time off to have children so i think the younger, the better the way things are set up in this generation.

Bitter. I'm okay if teenagers want to have sex, but if they are too stupid to 'accidentally' get pregnant, it's their fault for not using protection. Plus, they ruined their life, socially and financially. There are pregnant girls at my school and you can see people staring at them. Its sad, but they brought it on themselves. I feel sorry for the children because they have to deal with the parents being too inexperienced and the fact that they are young parents. But if the teens are good parents and plan to raise the child instead of putting him/her up for adoption or even having an abortion, that takes guts and that has to earn respect in my book.

depends on the circumstances....if it's jus some dumb gorl who's goin around spreadin her legs to everyone unprotected, then of course i will be bitter and think she's stupid.....however if she got pregnant due to something like her being raped, then of course i'll be sympathetic....but most teen pregs. fall somewhere between those two extremes.
