ok a few things i want to reference here to get my point rolling. one is the widely known fact that most people dont vote in the first place. my second point- secret societies and orders like the order of death(skull and bones for the public) that have major ties to high political points of power. in our last election, both major party candidates were members of the order of death. dont believe me? research it yourself. the third point i wanted to mention was the mass amounts of money being thrown every which way twords high state and federal officials. my last point brings me to the gop owned and operated easily fixabale and easily hackable voting machines that leave no trace of transactions, which will be widely used in the next election. taking into account everything that we know plus all that we dont, how much of the election is still in the publics hands?

The right to vote must be exercised because it is the remaining arsenal of the citizens in choosing their leaders.

I don't get into all the conspiracy stuff, but I believe that campaign finance reform is the single most important issue in politics. As it stands, the votes and media exposure go where the money is. Candidates have no choice but to pander to the rich and to corporations. It not only corrupts, but it makes it difficult for voters to figure out for themselves which candidates are best.

The fact that many people don't vote is also a big issue. It sways legislation disproportionately in favor of "safe" voters such as the Christian right and the elderly. The electoral college and the fact that each state has two senators disproportionately favors states with small populations. So there is a lot going on that takes power out of the hands of the masses.

possibly non at all. not clear. the voters have been effectively divided and now the must get their loyal following up to critical mass to win the thing. it is all about lies and promises and misinformation and working the media.
