Chill and takesome deep breaths. Having it late is great cuz less cramp years. Just cuz yo friends have it don't mean it's all that cuz u get embarrass a lot when it leaks and everyone sees. Happened to my friend Mary. Now they call her bloody mary. I'm not kidding. So b happy cuz millions of woman wouldlike to be in your shoes right now. Now if you don't get it by 17 go see a doc. Cuz u might never have it and won't be able to have kids. Well u could have unsafe humping if that happens.

Well, the fact of life is, you'll get it sometime - if you're a normal, healthy girl. Your neighbour it right, it is a pain in the .... I got mine at 13, my mother go hers at 16. It's all good.
My daughter is almost 12, she hasn't got it yet, but some of her friends do already. Everyone is different and there is no rule when your periods start. Some girls get it as young as 9 or 10, some not till they are 17 or 18. Relax. The less time you have to spend with this 'woman's curse' the better. Once it begins, it's there to stay till your 50's.

Don't worry, you will get your period. I think that 12 or 13 is the average age, but I've known people who got theirs at 11 and some who didn't get it until 16. If you haven't gotten it by the time you turn 16, you might talk to your doctor about it. But odds are you will get it in the next year or two.

You know, at first it really is a pain in the butt. I got mine on the day of my 12th birthday party!! It was a pool party too. Then i didn't feel comfortable telling my mom and I tried to hide it for the next year. It was a fiasco!! By the time I was about 14 or 15, however, it really isn't too big of a deal. Right now, I barely notice when I'm having it. i just don't feel too well that first day and then everything is completely normal. Anyways, i'm rambling, but the point is that you should be glad that it hasn't come on you birthday party and that it'll be fine in the end.

It is absolutely normal to get your period up to when you're 18. Relax, every body has a different rhythm. Yours might come today or in 14 weeks or in a year. If you're really worried you should have gotten it by now, go to your doctor and get a check up. But most of all it will come when it comes, don't rush it because it is a pain having to have your period EVERY month. Just Relax!

I'm 15 and i will tell you from experience yes, its a pain in the ***! Be glad you don't have it yet. It means you have less mood swings, can't get pregnant, no bleeding, and no cramps. Thank god you don't have it yet. If i were you i'd be hoping i wouldn't start til 15 or 16 but if your starting to grow more now it is likely you'd start when you're 13. I started when i was 13 and it SUCKED!!!!
