I just got my period and ruined my new pajama pants that I recently got for Christmas, how do I get the stain in the back of pants out?

They're not completely white so I can not bleach them, but they are white with different colored stripes going down vertically.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks guys, I just ran them under cold water and rinsed the heck outta those things and got most of it to come out, if not all of it!

Can't thank you all enough because it's 12.40am in the morning and I had no idea what to do.

Plus it's my first period and yeah. I'm only 14. :D

Thanks so much for all of the help!

The colder the water, the better. In fact I've used ice water for the really tough ones. Rub some soap into it and let it soak in ice water for awhile, scrubbing every now and then. It should come out especially if the blood hasn't dried yet.

The felz-naptha soap someone mentioned sounds interesting. Might be worth a try. I think I've heard of it before, but not sure. Just be sure that whatever soap you use, use cold water. Warm or hot will set the stain permanently.

Put them in the sink with cold water and shampoo on the spot - rub until spot loosens up thoroughly.
Wash in cold water with laundry soap and stain remover.
Do not put in dryer until stain is gone.

soak them immediately in a sink full of luke warm (not hot) water. add some woolite or zero (or if you don't have any use some detergent). after 10 minutes or so, rub the fabric together to try to get the stain out. rinse and repeat until the stain comes out.

Put them under cold water and put some hand soap on them and just keep scrubbing them together under the water. After let them soak for a little while. Good luck.

cold water. and soap! there's a soap called felz-naptha. Ask your mom if she has it, it is literally the most amazing stain-remover. If you don't own it, you might want to get it for further use!

but scrub the blood! and cold water. seriously. don't worry, I'm sure it'll come out. =]

Use warm water and Stain Stick. After that run them through the washer and then the dryer and they should be good!!

don't let the blood dry. put it in the sink, wash it with water and mild soap. then when you're washing the rest of your dirty clothes, put a stain remover on that one stain and wash it
it should wash most of it off and leave maybe a really really really pale brown if not clean
