Do you all like to swim during hot, sunny afternoon or in cold, night and why?

For me, I prefer hot, sunny afternoon swim because firstly it is hot so it is cooler to swim. But I not prefer cold night, it is too cold to bear the cold, night weather and the temperature of swimming pool water. (But there is no use in swiming both day and night because the swimming pool water is already cold, what the use?)

Assuming the water temp remains the same, it doesn't matter. The difference is when you stop swimming, entering and exiting the pool. Right now I'm trying to get very cold before going into the pool so the water is "warm". I hate entering a cool pool but do appreciate the cooler water once I get going.. Getting out is a hum-dinger. Night swimming is disorienting for me, I'm not keen on pool lights in my eyes.

i definitely prefer hot sunny afternoon because the pool is generally cooler than the outside temperature (depending on what you consider hot). in general, i noticed that the pool is more popular during the summer than in the winter, maybe because of the school system, maybe because when it gets hot people like to cool off. all i know is that i LOVE swimming in the really hot weather, but sometimes swimming in the rain is great too!

I think that the water feels warmer when it is colder outside but I like swimming on hot days because it cools you off.
