I was on the patch for three years, and just switched to the pill since there are so many issues with the patch, which I never experienced. I LOVED the patch. Oh well.
I've been on Yaz for 2 weeks, and have been spotting the last six days. Before Yaz, I tried Seasonique...and I was a complete Lunatic! On Yaz, I'm nice, but spotting. What else is out there? Help!!! Please.

I was on the patch for 2 yrs as well. I loved it too, but my Dr convinced me to switch to the Nuva ring!!! It is great, even better than the pill, patch etc! I am so pleased with it.
There is also the Depo shot, which i would not recommend b/c it does cause weight gain as well as hormonal changes!
My answer is to try out the ring, ask your doctor b/c he will ultimately be the decider. I will never use anything else. And No i have never been uncomfortable or anything while using the ring, cant even tell it's there!

2 weeks is still relatively early for any final determination on how Yaz is working for you.

It is like all things hormonal related, it takes time for your body to adjust, which can be as long as 2-3 months before things get on a regular cycle.

So when you have changed your birth control methods, it is important to practice other forms of contraceptive means until your hormonal cycles are on an even keel. Spotting is common when recent switches on BCs medications have occurred

However, if you are experiencing more than normal side affects as described in Yaz, it is important to contact your doctor. Open discussion is always important which includes alternatives of BCs. Only your doctor knows your medical history and instead of insisting on brand names of BCs you see in advertising, ask the doctor for possible suggestions as well as they will have a better handle on what may be best for you. Although, it is important to have a good understanding of yourself in order to suggest back at the doctor too.

Good luck and much prayers

I take B.C. because my body create ovarian cysts very quickly .

You've only started it for two weeks. The side affects are completely normal because your body is trying to adjust to the hormones in the medicine. spotting can happen up to six weeks, then stop if you take the B.C. on the daily basis. If you don't take Hormone pills regularly, that may also cause spotting.

If you don't stop spotting after a month and a half, go back to the doctor because the B.C may be too strong for you. There's another BC called ortho tricyclen . It comes in two forms: one for a person who can manage taking normal hormone pills, then there's ortho tricyclen lo with a low dose of hormones, which is what I take.

Mood swings are still normal, I even get them with my BC. It's normal, it happens, you just need to adjust to the medicine.

bounce forward bleeding(recognizing) is extremely undemanding on all beginning controls, exceptionally yaz. whilst i became taking yaz, my recognizing have been given increasingly greater worse and finally I had to change to tri-sprintec. even nonetheless, you have in easy terms been on yaz for 2 months, that's probably why you're recognizing. i could advise you supply yaz some greater months and confirm you're taking it around an analogous time each and daily and don't pass over any pills. If the recognizing gets heavier or you settle on you do in contrast to yaz, then call your ob-gyn and tell them relating to the subject concerns you had with yaz and that they are going to change you to a distinctive pill to objective.

Yaz did the same to me in the beginning. Now it's fantastic. Shorter periods and no more pain (reason I take them). Give it a try, if after a while, you still don't like, try Yazmine.

AND...FYI Anaid and Sicrmani- BC pills are not only used to prevent pregnancy. In my case, I use it to control chronic pain from Endometriosis. Do your research before you answer with such idiocracy!! You don't know the questioners situation.

If you like the convience of the patch, you could ask your doctor about going on the shot. They only allow you to do that for a short period of time, but at least there is no pill to take.

Have you had a child? You could consider an IUD. Those are convient as well, but a lot of women are against them because it blocks implantation, not conception.

I used Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for several years and loved it. My periods were 4 weeks to the day, lasted less than 3 days each time, and my skin was nice and clear!
