I'm 16, and I was anorexic. I excersized a couple times a week, and barely ate. I stopped this time of year last year because I had a hard time breathing (felt as if something was pushing on my chest).

Now, I eat plenty, and I regained all my weight back (thankgoodness). My breathing is tons better, but sometimes when I eat, my heart goes really fast. I don't know if this will stick with me forever, but it's a really scary feeling. Do you believe this is something that will go away in time, or something I will have forever for damaging my body like an idiot I was?

likely some ONE thing you are eating is not agreeing with you. You may be mis-digesting some element of a certain food and that could be causing your "palpitations"-FAST HEART BEAT. If you think about what you are eating, SOMETHING is different from your previous diet, and likely THAT IS THE PROBLEM. If you cannot think of what it might be, have a doctor test you for allergies to some of the things you are NOW eating. Could be an ingredient in soda, candy, or any other food you did not eat before.

well if it really scares you go see a doctor. eating disorders can mess you up really bad. but i could also be that you might be eating a lot of sugar/caffeine or fat
